Connect Quick Start Guide
1. Log-in
Log-in at https://connect.aom.org/ with your AOM username and password. On the homepage you will find the latest Discussions, Announcements, and more.
2. Personalize Your Profile
Click your thumbnail image in the top right corner to access your profile. Take a moment to add your photo, as well as your bio, education or job history. A complete profile helps other members learn more about you and will help you connect to others with similar interests.
3. Join a Community
There are more than 60+ communities available for you to join across Connect@AOM.
- Click on the Communities menu item, then "My Communities" to view the communities you already belong to. AOM members are automatically added to the division or interest group (DIG) communities selected on their membership profile.
- Click on the Communities menu item, then "All Communities" to browse the full list of available communities. You can filter the list to view those you are eligible to join, or ones where you can view the content.
- Communities include member-led groups based on regional locations, member affinity topics, or groups based on career stage. Find the one that is right for you!
4. Start a Discussion
It's time to engage with other AOM members! Explore all of the Discussions here. What should you do first?
- Join the Conversation. Post to a Discussion to say hello, ask a question, or share ideas of your own.
- Give feedback. Use your knowledge and experience to answer other members' questions. Just click "Reply to Discussion" to the right of any discussion post.
- Spread knowledge. Upload useful resources to a Connect@AOM library, check out what others have uploaded, and keep the sharing going.
