The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health plans to recruit up to three tenure-track faculty members in the coming academic year.   This is an exciting time to join HPM and the BSPH. A new chair, Dr. Keshia Pollack Porter, began in February 2022, and she has a bold vision regarding scholarship, education, practice, and policy impact.  Under her leadership, the Department has reaffirmed its committed to advancing inclusion, diversity, anti-racism, and equity  (IDARE) in scholarship, education, practice, and the department's culture.

The Department is seeking to expand the scope of its expertise in health services research. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or comparable degree in health services research, management, decision sciences, economics, or a closely related field with research interests in the organization and delivery of health services.  Ideal candidates for these positions will have an established track record of externally- funded research or the strong potential to develop one. A commitment to graduate-level advising, mentoring, and teaching is required.
