You are invited to join us for an engaging and informative in-person session on advancing interdisciplinary teamwork on Monday, August 8, 3:30 – 5:00 pm PT. Attend in HYR: 402 Chilwack (in-person only). For more details https://2022.aom.org/meetings/virtual/DNnSPTiTNkamjehTM.

    Description:

Although interdisciplinary teams can be highly innovative and show superior performance, teamwork across disciplines has challenges. The prevalence of interdisciplinary teams increases the need to better understand processes underlying and supporting interdisciplinary teams' efforts, and health care settings are uniquely positioned for developing this understanding due to the complex nature of health care problems, which regularly require cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing. Building on four papers that draw on knowledge gained from health care settings, the aim of our symposium is to help leaders in human resources understand and explore the processes that support interdisciplinary teams' ability to provide high-quality, innovative performance.
