    The Department of Management at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track position in Management to begin Fall 2024 at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates will be expected to conduct research suitable for publication in top-tier journals, teach courses in Organizational Behavior at the undergraduate, master's, or doctoral level, participate in department and school governance activities, and perform related duties as assigned.

    Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Management or a related field from an AACSB-accredited program, a record or evidence of potential to publish in leading academic journals, and a record of service to the profession. Candidates with ABD status are welcome to apply. In addition, desirable candidates will have experience teaching Organizational Behavior courses, the potential to incorporate technology advancements within the classroom and their research, and the ability to establish effective relationships with faculty and staff. Salary and benefits packages are competitive.

    The Management Department is a cohesive community of faculty members in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Strategic Management. Department faculty publish in top-tier journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Organizational Research Methods. The department offers programs at the undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. levels.
