This year's Annual Behavioral Ethics Pecha Kucha Springboard and Networking PDW will take place during the Academy of Management Meeting in Boston on Saturday August 5, from 1:30PM to 4:00PM Eastern (Boston) time, in the Sheraton Boston Hotel, Back Bay Ballroom D. This year's theme is "Extending the Behavioral Ethics Literature by Building Connections with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Research."

The PDW consists of two parts. The first part is open to all AOM attendees. It features eight Pecha Kucha (timed 5-minute) presentations on a broad array of DEIB topics by experts in the field. The presenters and their topics are:

    - Estelle Archibold (Pennsylvania State University) on "Ethical pathways for managing conflict in racialized contexts"
    - Derek Brown (University of California, Berkeley) on "The implications of perceiving DEIB policies as a zero-sum game"
    - Carolyn Dang (Pennsylvania State University) on "An ethics/social justice case for DEIB"
    - Allison Gabriel (University of Arizona) on "Women's health at work"
    - Michael Johnson (Louisiana State University) on "Obesity in the workplace"

    - Aparna Joshi (Pennsylvania State University) on "Gender bias in the upper echelons"
    - Tim Kundro (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) on "Gendered topics in behavioral ethics"
    - Elizabeth E. Umphress (University of Washington) on "The practical importance of ethics and DEIB"

After the presentations, a panel of four behavioral ethics scholars will reflect on how these DEIB issues connect with the behavioral ethics field. The panelists are Jennifer Kish-Gephart (University of Massachusetts-Amherst), Marshall Schminke (University of Central Florida), Kristin Smith-Crowe (Boston University), and Ann Tenbrunsel (Notre Dame University). Then, session organizers Linda Treviño and Niki den Nieuwenboer will facilitate a thought-provoking plenary discussion.

The second, networking, part of the PDW, is open only to those who register in advance. It is capped at 100 attendees, on a first come first served basis, and we only have about 20 spots left. You can register on the link that is provided below. This part of the PDW is a reception where eight roundtables on specific topics will be hosted by experts in the field. Attendees can roam the room and mingle at these roundtables, to discuss research ideas and presentations with the experts as well as other attendees. The roundtable experts and topics are as follows:
