    About the Opportunity 

    The D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University is seeking candidates for two open tenured or tenure-track positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor). For the first position we are interested in applicants with interdisciplinary expertise focused on business sustainability, including global sustainability, the future of work, sustainable finance and investing, ESG reporting, enabling organizational and societal resilience, and workforce agility and resilience. The second position is focused on leadership/power structures and ethical data use in organizations, including power dynamics within and between global organizations, and patterns of interactions and relationships among organizations or firms.   

     

    Candidates may be considered for a joint appointment between the D'Amore-McKim School of Business (primary appointment) and the College of Engineering (Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) or the College of Social Science and Humanities (secondary appointment). 

     

    About the D'Amore-McKim School of Business: 

    The D'Amore-McKim School of Business offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business applications. Our students explore innovative theories with professors, fusing knowledge with learning experiences that include cooperative education or corporate residency, study abroad, and community service. Similarly, the School's resulting connections with the corporate world influence its research agendas, which, in turn, shape innovative new business practices. This synergy enables D'Amore-McKim students to become successful business leaders who are both thinkers and doers, and thus highly qualified to think critically and leave their mark on the global business world. 


    Responsibilities:

     

    Successful candidates will develop and execute independent research programs; teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels; and participate in service to the group, D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and discipline.  


    Qualifications:

     

    Candidates interested in conducting high-impact research programs and teaching excellence in the areas above are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold a doctorate in Management or a related field by the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level must be outstanding scholars with an international reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and service, along with clear indications of continued research success. Appointments at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level will be commensurate with experience and qualifications reflecting a record of demonstrated teaching and scholarly excellence. 

     

    Candidates must have a background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse work and educational environments. They should be committed to fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to promoting experiential learning, which is central to a Northeastern University Education.
