Greetings from the Communications Committee!
By Josh Wei-Jun Hsueh
The Communications Committee is responsible for making sure that we disseminate information to our members and engage them in a meaningful discourse. We do so through mainly three key channels:
1. CONNECT@AOM. This official platform provided by AOM is our formal channel for sharing the most important information with our members. Our leadership team regularly shares important division updates on this platform. Our members can also share their information and exchange thoughts with each other on our Discussion forum. You can configure your email notification setting in your AOM account to receive regular updates from the platform.
2. NewsBlast. This bi-monthly newsletter integrates important messages from the leadership team, awards, events, calls for papers, and regular columns for research highlights, student members, and practitioner-scholars. To receive NewsBlast, you need to have ENT as one of your AOM divisions and ensure that ENT@aom.org is in the safe sender list of your email server.
3. Social media channels. Our most active social media channel is LinkedIn, where you will receive the timeliest information by following our page there.
In addition to managing these channels, we work closely with the other committees to support their dissemination activities. All our team members are amazing scholars who volunteer their valuable time to support the communications activities of the division.
