Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to invite you to the XIII Iberoamerican Academy of Management (IAoM) Conference. The event will take place at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid from May 22-24, 2025.
The conference theme is "The Present and Future of Management in Iberoamerica: Research and Innovation in the Age of AI." In it, we aim to explore the challenges and opportunities of increased digitalization and AI for management research and practice in Iberoamerica.
As we are observing, digitalization and AI have the potential to transform work and organizations significantly. These technologies are anticipated to disrupt business processes, decision-making, and strategic planning, potentially leading to more efficient operations, innovative business models, and enhanced regional competitive advantages. However, the specific contexts within which Iberoamerican scholars operate will influence these transformations, so understanding the enablers and barriers that will emerge in these environments is crucial. We trust that sharing our research and lived experiences will enrich our collective understanding and foster collaborative solutions to these challenges.
This conference is intended for scholars and professionals from all management disciplines and career stages who conduct research in Iberoamerican countries or are connected to these regions.
