and our latest newsletter

Message from Division Chair

The Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM) Division was one of the original divisions at the Academy of Management, and continues to be a vibrant, global group of scholars in operations and supply chain management. One unique advantage of AoM as a conference destination for such scholars is that beyond our own division there are opportunities to interact with top scholars from many adjacent divisions, including Organizational Behavior, Business Policy and Strategy, and Technology and Innovation Management. I invite you to browse this website to learn more about our leadership, awards, sponsors, the upcoming conference call for papers and PDW's, doctoral and junior faculty consortium and opportunities to join our division and get involved.

At each year’s annual conference, in the scholarly sessions we showcase the very latest, peer reviewed empirical research in Operations Management. In addition, through the Professional Development Workshops (PDWs), we host and participate many innovative programs, including workshops, tutorials, paper development sessions, and other interactive sessions. The Division has built a strong network of researchers and has developed strong relationship with leading empirically-oriented journals in our field, most notably the Journal of Operations Management and the Journal of Supply Chain Management. This website contains all of the relevant information for submissions and the links to the relevant AOM sites.

Enjoy your visit!
