This is a two-year project funded by the Alliance MBS Strategic Research Investment Fund. The successful candidate will work together with Professor Jonatan Pinkse and Dr Eva Niesten in a project team based in the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research. The goal of the project is to gain a deeper understanding of the future of the European energy industry from a business perspective, as it is currently experiencing rapid change. The project will analyse how energy companies' business ecosystems are changing rapidly due to the emergence of sustainable energy innovations such as renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.) and smart grid technologies.
