Postdoctoral Fellow position available – fixed-term 12 months (with possibility and intention of extension)
The Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research, located within the QUT Business School in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking applications from talented and motivated individuals for a new postdoctoral position. We are looking for candidates who have been awarded a doctorate within the last five years, or who are currently at the very final stage of their PhD studies. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong conceptual and data analysis skills and have the ability to publish in international top-tier journals. This time, we are particularly (but not exclusively) interested in candidates that combine a strong background in Entrepreneurship with demonstrated expertise and interest in some industry or technology area where QUT has particular research strength outside of the QUT Business School. Examples of such areas include:
· Robotics, esp. robotic vision
· Additive manufacturing (3D printing)
· Biomedical innovation
· Tropical plants and biocommodities
· Spatial information
· Information systems
· Niches within creative (artistic) industries
· Niches of "the digital economy".

About the role
The Postdoctoral Research Fellows will be part of the collaborative research environment of the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research at QUT. The appointee(s) will have access to senior academic mentors and individualised career development advice.
The successful applicant(s) have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on these projects in creative, conceptual, analysis and authoring roles. Our intention with the current fellowship is also to strengthen mutually beneficial collaboration with research groups in other (than business) faculties at QUT.
