I would like to announce that EIASM, INSEAD, and IESE Business School are organizing the EDEN Doctoral Seminar on Advanced Strategic Management.

The week will consist of lectures, discussions, and presentations, and aims to bring the participants up to speed on the state of the art in Strategic Management research. The target audience is doctoral students from all over the world, preferably in their second or third year of study, who have covered the basic courses and are actively developing their own research questions in the Strategy field.
The Faculty line-up includes Mario Daniele Amore (Bocconi University), Bruno Cassiman (IESE Business School), Olivier Chatain (HEC Paris), Javier Gimeno (INSEAD), Brian Silverman (University of Toronto), and Giovanni Valentini (IESE Business School).
Topics covered in the Seminar will include:
Modern methods and econometric models for empirical work in strategy
Formal models in strategy research
Value-based strategy
Corporate strategy and the boundaries of the firm
Competitive strategy
Innovation strategy and productivity
Applicants will be selected on a competitive basis and only accepted and fully-registered applicants may participate. The application deadline is September 25, 2017.
