Duke University's Fuqua School of Business invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship to begin Summer 2018 for applicants whose research lies at the intersection of organization theory, economics, and innovation. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in survey methods and data analysis studying how organizations develop new products and services. The postdoc will contribute to an on-going research project that seeks to better understand firm's choices regarding how to organize for innovation and how those choices affect the likelihood of project success.

The Fuqua School of Business provides an outstanding environment for research, and topics related to innovation are studied across Duke University, such as in economics, sociology, engineering, and law. The post-doctoral fellow will be expected to contribute to the intellectual environment of the Fuqua School of Business. He or she would work closely with Professors Jonathon Cummings, Wes Cohen, and Jon Fjeld, and other collaborations with faculty at Fuqua and at Duke will be encouraged. The salary is $52,000/year plus benefits.

Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. by June 2018. The post-doctoral fellowship is exclusively for recent Ph.D. graduates. Eligible candidates must not have previously held a faculty or postdoctoral position. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a brief summary of past and current research to Adrienne Baroff <adrienne.baroff@duke.edu>, Faculty Affairs Personnel Coordinator. Candidates should include the names and contact information for three individuals who would be willing to provide letters of recommendation. The candidate's advisor will be asked to verify the date of Ph.D. completion. Applications received by March 31, 2018 will receive full consideration. Duke University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer committed to increasing the diversity of its employees. We strongly encourage applications from women and underrepresented minority candidates.
