    Dear Colleagues,

    The University of Amsterdam is recruiting a PhD candidate for a project that is aimed at investigating the role of quality and category signals in getting early investments in biotech entrepreneurial ventures. We offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial research atmosphere and access to national and international development opportunities through collaborations in academia and industry in one of the most attractive locations in the world. Furthermore, we offer a competitive salary and a research budget. The preferred starting date is 1 October 2018, but it is negotiable. The PhD candidate can be of any nationality, but he or she must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
