PhD Program in Business Administration: Leadership/Organization Studies Concentration

The Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is now accepting applications for its PhD program in Business Administration (Leadership/Organization Studies Concentration). As one of the leading research-oriented business schools in the New England area, we're looking for applicants with strong academic backgrounds and intellectual curiosity about the nature and workings of organizations.

Our main goal is to prepare students to join research institutions as tenure-track faculty members after their graduation. In addition to rigorous, in-depth course work in research theory and methodology, we provide students with opportunities to work with cutting-edge faculty (https://www.uml.edu/MSB/faculty/management-faculty-list.aspx). We also offer the flexibility for students to tailor their own research programs. Our PhD students have access to the same research resources available to our faculty. In addition, they are exposed to innovative teaching techniques and have the opportunity to develop their teaching talents.

Accepted full-time students are eligible for PhD Research and Teaching Assistantships, which include full tuition/fee waivers and an annual stipend for up to four years.

Please visit our website for more information (https://www.uml.edu/MSB/Programs/Doctoral-Program/default.aspx). If you have questions or would like to recommend students for our PhD program, please contact the Program Director, Yi Yang (at 978-934-2813 or Yi_Yang@uml.edu). You may also contact the Leadership/Organization Studies Concentration Coordinator, Elana Feldman (at 978-934-6358 or Elana_Feldman@uml.edu).

The deadline for application submission is February 1st, 2017.
