    The University of Liverpool Management School is inviting applications from prospective PhD candidates with an outstanding academic achievement and research potential for a number of Studentships in the 2017/18 academic year. These studentships will be awarded across the School, providing full fees (only at Home/EU rate) and a stipend of £14,296 a year for up to four years. These applications are initially for the Graduate Teaching Fellowships (GTFs), but by completing an application form you will be considered for both the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership NWSSDTP funding and funding via the ULMS GTF Scheme.

    We are open to research topics across Management, Organization, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Operations. We also explicitly invite interdisciplinary approaches.     It is expected that candidates contact potential ULMS supervisors before the deadline to explore whether collaboration can be initiated.

    Application Process

    Closing Date for Applications: 5pm, Monday 16 January 2017

    First Round Shortlisting (for NWSSDTP funding) : Wednesday 18 January 2017

    Short listed applicants will be advised to apply for the ESRC NWSSDTP Studentships: Thursday 19th  January 2017

    Second Round Shortlisting (for GTFs): To be confirmed - Short-listed candidates will be interviewed.

    Interviews for GTFs: To be confirmed
