    CALL FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS

The School of Business at The University of Kansas is now accepting applications for its PhD Program in Organizational Behavior!

At the University of Kansas, School of Business, we develop proficient researchers and effective teachers, well-educated in substance and methods of business research, and capable of pursuing successful careers in academia or business.

Our Ph.D. program is selective, rigorous, and challenging, yet it provides a collegial, supportive, and intellectually stimulating atmosphere that fosters the development of effective teaching and research skills and motivation for continuing self-education. The small size of our program makes individualized attention a reality.  A master's degree is NOT required for admission into our program. For the Fall 2017 term, we are accepting applications in Organizational Behavior.

We offer an attractive financial-aid package, and the School of Business invests substantial resources in the form of dedicated world-class faculty, state-of-the-art computer hardware/software, various research centers, a behavioral lab, fellowships, scholarships, funding to attend conferences and work on research projects, numerous weekly colloquia, a best graduate paper award, and several teaching awards. Our OB faculty research interests include leadership, multiteam systems, ethics, well-being and work, positive organizational scholarship, and decision making, and their research competencies comprise both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Placement of our graduates runs the gamut from major research universities to four-year teaching colleges. Our alumni have been placed at leading business schools; for example, University of Iowa, Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Mississippi, University of Central Florida, and University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).

If you think any student at your institution (or you personally) may be interested in pursuing a business Ph.D. degree, please feel free to contact Charly Edmonds, Doctoral Programs Director, or visit our website at http://business.ku.edu/phd. (For quickest response, please send your inquiries to bschoolphd@ku.edu). Let us show you how a Ph.D. degree in business can provide an opportunity to critically and positively impact society and also be a great source of a personally rewarding career. We look forward to working with you.
