The International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) is holding its 21st International Conference on OR, Management Science, and other related subjects with the main theme of analytics. It is being held in Quebec City, Canada, from July 17-21, 2017. Quebec City is the capital of Canadian province Quebec, that is affectionately termed France in North America. The city is fortified and has many tourist attractions from the good old days. For more detail, go to http://ifors2017.ca/
For this conference, we are organizing two streams of sessions related to knowledge in organizations and, for the first time, in nations-developing nations. The first is a stream on Knowledge as a Nation Development Strategy, which will have two sessions, viz., Developing Knowledge Economy and Building Knowledge Society. The emphasis of papers expected in this stream should be on how countries can deploy knowledge as a strategy to develop their economy and society. The second stream on knowledge consists of papers on Knowledge Analytics that invites papers in the areas of Knowledge Management Analytics and Knowledge Work Analytics.
If you have been working in any of these or related areas, we invite you to come to Quebec City and share your ideas with your colleagues. We expect this meeting to bring researchers from around the globe to present developments in all topics related to knowledge.
