    Dear TIM Division Member,

     

    The Technology and Innovation Management Division (TIM) of the Academy of Management seeks nominations for the PAST CHAIRS' EMERGING SCHOLAR AWARD.  This award is given to an emerging scholar who has already achieved a solid publication record and whose scholarly contributions show great promise to become influential or path breaking in the TIM domain.  The award is presented annually at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting by the Chairman of the TIM Past Chairs' Emerging Scholar Award selection committee.

     

    The selection committee for 2013 consists of:

     

    Raghu Garud (Chair), Pennsylvania State University (TIM President 2002-03)

     

    Michael Lawless, University of San Diego (TIM President 1991-92)

     

    Deborah Dougherty, Rutgers University (TIM President 2000-01)

     

    2013 NOMINATION PROCESS

    Any member of the TIM Division can nominate someone for this award.

     

    Any scholar within 5 years of obtaining the Ph.D. degree is eligible. The nominee should have already achieved a solid publication record, with scholarly contributions judged by the nominating member as showing exceptional quality and great promise to become influential.

     

    Nominate someone by sending an email to Raghu Garud (rug14@smeal.psu.edu) with a brief explanation of the reasons for your nomination along with an attachment containing the nominee's CV or link to its URL.

     

    Nominations will be accepted until June 15, 2013.

     

    On behalf of the selection committee, I encourage you to consider nominating a deserving scholar for consideration for this award to be presented at the Orlando meeting.
