Twitter is becoming a common means of communication within our community. Many of you use it to share papers, organize (e.g. at conferences), and discuss (e.g. via hashtags). We've set up a TIM Twitter account to:

    1. Spread TIM research and divisional news.
    2. Make it easier for our members to find and talk to each other by helping to institutionalize hashtags for discussing TIM issues (e.g. research areas; upcoming conferences/special issues etc).
    3.  Provide the division with a new way to communicate with our members and the broader public interested in TIM issues.

You can find and follow our account @aom_tim (https://twitter.com/aom_tim). Sam MacAulay, from Imperial College London (https://twitter.com/sam_macaulay), is administering the account for now and we'll work to expand administration to one or two more people so as to cover various time zones. Please help to spread the word and be sure to tweet us with any news you want shared in the lead up to AoM.
