Job Title: Professor, Entrepreneurship
Full/Part Time: Full Time (NTTA)

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The LIU Brooklyn School of Business, Public Administration, and Information Sciences is seeking to fill senior level faculty positions in Entrepreneurship at all ranks. Among the skills and knowledge that are most desirable are an understanding of the development and implementation of entrepreneurial strategies, experience with start-ups, turnarounds and entrepreneurial ventures, and high-level financial skills and experience. Candidates with interests in sub-specialties of Entrepreneurship such as Entrepreneurial Finance, Social Entrepreneurship, Family Business, Entrepreneurship Education, Technology Entrepreneurship or others are encouraged to apply. A strong proven track record of research and publication is essential. The ability to clearly communicate this knowledge and to teach these skills is essential.
Because the School offers Entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate, masters, and executive levels, candidates should have the capability for excellent classroom performance in an array of programs and at various levels. Faculty in this position will divide their time between teaching in various degree-granting programs and working in the Entrepreneurship Center where they interact with and support entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs through mentoring, program development, and teaching non-credit classes. This search is subject to final budget allocation.
An interest in writing and research in the area of Entrepreneurship would also be considered a strong positive. Successful candidates for all positions will be a person with significant business and entrepreneurial experience including a master's level degree in Business or a related field.
Education Requirements: Earned doctorate (or completion by fall 2016)
