Call: Three tenure track positions at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University
Strategy Position: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategy beginning September, 2018. We invite applications from individuals working at the frontiers of strategy with complementary training and research interests in organizational behavior and/or organization theory.
Entrepreneurship Position: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Entrepreneurship beginning September, 2018. We invite applications from individuals working at the frontiers of entrepreneurship with complementary training and research interests in innovation, strategy, and/or organization theory.
International Business Position: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in International Business beginning September, 2018.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an AACSB-International accredited university in Strategy. The PhD must be completed, or near completion, by the start date. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly journals and also have demonstrated excellence teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Responsibilities include:
A. Maintaining a program of research leading to publications in high-quality journals
B. Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses in strategy, possibly in innovation and/or organization theory, and fulfilling the responsibilities associated with those courses
C. Providing suitable service to the Department, University, profession, and/or community.
