We are pleased to invite submissions for the 14th International Studying Leadership Conference (ISLC) to be held at Lancaster University Management School, December 13th - 15th, 2015. The theme for this year’s conference is New Directions in Leadership Studies: Exploring the Critical Turn. Submissions of no more than 1000 words should be submitted by September 14th, 2015.
The Conference seeks to open up debates in leadership studies by encouraging submissions that examine new theoretical and empirical directions. Papers are especially welcome that draw on conceptual and empirical contributions using critical frameworks to address key global leadership issues from power, identity and inequality, to emotions, resistance and conformity. An important aim of the conference is to encourage a re-thinking of leadership studies from a more global and critical perspective and to interrogate what this might mean for contemporary theory and practice.
We are also pleased to announce that at least one Special Issue drawing on papers presented at the Conference will be published in the journal Leadership.
