The Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) within the Department
of Management, Technology, and Economics of ETH Zurich invites applications
for 2 to 4 positions at the postdoctoral researcher level.
SusTec investigates organizational, technological and institutional change
in the energy sector. We do this by adopting two complementary perspectives:
The first focuses on the broader system level to analyze the role of
institutions, e.g. public policy, for innovation and diffusion of low-carbon
technologies. The second focuses on the firm level to explore corporate
strategies and organizational dynamics in the energy sector.
The successful candidates are expected to conduct research in the field of
management and/or technological change. Relevant disciplines in management
are strategy, technology and innovation management, entrepreneurship,
international business or organizational behavior. Relevant research fields
related to technological change include, but are not limited to, innovation
studies, evolutionary economics and technology assessments. The candidate's
empirical area of investigation should be related to energy, e.g. renewable
energy, energy efficiency, energy storage, electric vehicles or smart grid
technologies. Both qualitative and quantitative research approaches are
welcome.

frequent interactions with leading scholars in ETH's Department of
Management, Technology, and Economics and ETH's Energy Science Center. We

attractive location. The annual salary is very competitive and the starting
date is negotiable.
