The Villanova School of Business at Villanova University invites nominations and applications for appointment to the newly created Frank J. and Jane E. Ryan Family Endowed Chair in Strategy and Innovation. The position has a starting date of August 2015.
The successful candidate will have an established record as a prominent scholar or is on pace to achieve that level in strategy and innovation. Working within the Department of Management and Operations, the Ryan Chair is expected to raise the visibility of the Villanova School of Business in the area of strategy and innovation, provide pedagogical leadership at all levels, and maintain an active leadership presence within Villanova University and the broader scholarly community. The Chair offers a commensurate and competitive salary and benefits package.
Applicants must be at or above the Associate Professor level and possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Strategic Management, Management Science, or field related to Innovation Processes. They must have an outstanding research and service record, demonstrate a continuing commitment to produce high-level research in the field, be outstanding teachers, and be collegial in all respects.
