    Detailed Job Description

    The Department of Management invites applications for a full-time, lecturer position starting in August 2019.  Responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate capstone/project based courses, as well as entrepreneurship, digital entrepreneurship, strategy, and/or project management courses.  This position will be responsible for client project acquisition and contracting, student recruiting and supervision, and client/project management.  This lecturer will spend 80% effort on teaching (8 courses per year), leading, coordinating and 20% effort in providing service to the department and college by serving on assigned committees, attending department and college meetings, participating in recruiting events, and handling other responsibilities as assigned.     The Management Department comprises the area of management, entrepreneurship, international business, and operations & supply chain disciplines and has a very collegial and supportive culture. The department has a strong commitment to a high level of research and teaching.  Faculty members are actively engaged in research and have published in leading journals, such as the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Operations Management, Management Science, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Decision Sciences, and Journal of Product Innovation Management.
