    Special Session on Soft Computing Applications in the Field of Industrial and Environmental Enterprises
    under the frame of the
    13th International Conference on Soft Computing Models in Industrial and Environmental Applications

    San Sebastian (Spain), 6th-8th June 2018

    SCOPE

    There is a wide variety of areas that enterprises find challenging, ranging from Human Resources, to Internationalization, Finance, Risk Assessment, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Knowledge Management among others. Soft computing is a promising proposal for solving some of these challenges. In keeping with this idea, this Special Session aims at compiling related research works on the interplay between Soft Computing and Enterprise Management.

    Best papers selected from this special session will be invited to submit extended versions to a special issue of the following journal:
    Cybernetics and Systems: An International Journal
    Published by Taylor and Francis.

    *** PROCEEDINGS***
    SOCO'18 proceedings will be published by Springer in a special volume of Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (Springer), indexed by ISI Proceedings, DBLP and Springerlink, among others. All submissions will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity.
    Every submitted paper to SOCO'18 will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee.

    All submissions will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee.
    Papers must be prepared according to Springer's templates (MS Word or LaTeX format) for the Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing volume series (http://www.springer.com/series/11156) and must be no more than ten (10) pages long, including figures and bibliography. Additional pages (over 10 pages) will be charged at 150 Euro each.
