Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to our IG&C Sunday Session on
"Technological Change and Firm Strategy" at the Strategic Management Society's Annual Conference in Houston, TX.
The session's panelists will discuss theoretical and empirical issues at the intersection of technological change and firm strategy. The broad objective of the session is twofold: First, it aims to summarize the status quo of research on technological change and strategy. Second, it seeks to identify the understudied issues that are of both theoretical and practical importance.
More specifically, the panelists will emphasize the importance of taking into account firms' heterogeneity with regard to a) how they are impacted by the change and b) how they respond to the change. Further, they will discuss the performance implications of firms' responses.
Following the panelists' presentations, the floor will be opened for questions. No registration is required for this session.
