We are delighted to announce the sixth Virtual Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research (VSSER), a no-fee, fully online program that will take place May 4–8, 2026.

VSSER is designed for scholars who wish to strengthen their foundations in entrepreneurship research and engage more deeply with the ideas shaping the field. We invite applications from a diverse, global group of participants-including doctoral students, early-career scholars, and others interested in entrepreneurship research-who are eager to learn, discuss, and connect with fellow researchers.

The program is built around interactive virtual seminars led by leading scholars whose work has significantly advanced our understanding of entrepreneurial phenomena. Participants will read assigned journal articles before the sessions and come prepared to engage actively by asking questions and contributing to discussion.

A distinctive feature of VSSER is its emphasis on collaborative learning. Participants will interact with peers in small learning communities as well as larger group discussions, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, reflect on key readings, and build lasting scholarly connections.

The motivation behind VSSER is simple: to broaden access to high-quality training in entrepreneurship research and facilitate the dissemination of foundational ideas and emerging developments in the field. Since its launch, VSSER has brought together participants from around the world who share a common commitment to advancing entrepreneurship scholarship.

If you are curious about the field, eager to deepen your understanding of entrepreneurship research, and excited to learn alongside a global community of scholars, we encourage you to apply.
