As the global community reaffirms its commitment to transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy post-COP28, the urgency for structural transformations within organizations and beyond is paramount to support a just, orderly, and equitable shift. Understanding these changes from a management and organizational perspective is critical, as the history of energy transitions shows that these shifts are rarely linear or predictable, often involving numerous and varied stakeholders with conflicting goals.

This symposium brings together experts with extensive research, industry, and editorial experience to engage in a moderated, interactive discussion. Topics will include cutting-edge green innovation research, organizational challenges in integrating green solutions, the socio-economic impact of energy transition on communities and the workforce, and the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship in the green sector. The discussions will also highlight future research opportunities in management, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.  For any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the organizers Shirley Tang (xiaoli.tang@unibocconi.it) and Xia Li (xial@london.edu).
