    Abstract:
Startups are often constrained in their ability to attract the critical resources necessary for their survival and growth. Research has traditionally examined the impact of specific types of resources on startups' performance, focusing primarily on human capital, financial capital, and social capital. Although the study of how startups can access each of these resources in isolation has led to important theoretical and empirical advancements, we lack a more integrated view of the different resource mobilization challenges startups need to tackle. Each of these three categories of resources plays a key role in enhancing startups' survival and growth potential, but their combined impact might grant new ventures a competitive edge. Hence, this symposium invites scholars broadly interested in entrepreneurial resource mobilization to present and discuss their views, fostering discussion on how diverse resources, individually and collectively, must be mobilized to secure a startup's success. By bringing together multifaceted perspectives on entrepreneurial resources acquisition, this symposium aims to nurture conversations between research streams that might otherwise remain siloed and, in so doing, outline pathways for future research on the synergies between different resource mobilization processes for new venture performance.
