The Technology and Innovation Management Division of the Academy of Management (AOM TIM Division) and the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ) are jointly organizing a virtual, synchronous Paper Development Workshop for junior scholars (post-doctoral researchers and junior faculty). We specifically also invite scholars from the global south to submit their work.

The TIM Research Committee and Academy of Management Journal are pleased to bring you a Virtual Paper Development Workshop. We have designed the workshop as an opportunity for junior scholars interested in technology, innovation, creativity, product development, and other TIM-related topics to receive feedback on unpublished papers. Faculty members can be at any stage from incoming assistant professor/lecturer to pre-tenure associate. The workshop will center around dedicated time for virtual, small-group round table conversations with senior faculty mentors about submitting your work to AMJ.
Senior faculty mentors: Scholars whose research focuses on TIM areas will serve as mentors; they are drawn from the panel of AMJ senior editors and the TIM Research Committee. List to be finalized from the below individuals.
Application Process: To apply, please fill out this form and submit a (1) CV and (2) extended abstract (Max 1,800 words – around 6 pages) of your paper. Capacity is limited, and therefore we may not be able to accept all applications.
