Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share a call for submissions for the AOM 2026 PDW "AI and Entrepreneurship" on Sunday, Aug 2 2026 9:00AM - 12:00PM ET.

This three-hour PDW examines how entrepreneurs design, use, and scale AI systems across stages of venture creation, moving beyond "AI as a tool" to AI as an entry cost mitigator, a decision architecture, and an organizational problem. The workshop convenes six leading scholars across two thematic panels:
Session 1 - AI, Experimentation, and Entrepreneurial Learning: Scott Stern (MIT Sloan), Hyunjin Kim (INSEAD), Hila Lifshitz-Assaf (Warwick)
Session 2 - AI, Organizational Design, and Decision Reliability at Scale: David Hsu (Wharton), Keyvan Vakili (LBS), Arnaldo Camuffo (Bocconi)
Following panel presentations and an integrative discussion, participants who pre-submit an idea or extended abstract will have the opportunity to join facilitated roundtables matched with panelists for targeted feedback on their work.
Who should submit?
PhD students, postdocs, and junior faculty working on AI and entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic decision-making, organizational design, or related topics. Submitters need not present formal papers. Early-stage ideas and works-in-progress are welcome.
How to submit
Submit a one-page research proposal (PDF) via this form: https://forms.gle/vKfh9o9UbY7FG4ad9
Parts 1 and 2 of the PDW are open to all AOM attendees. Part 3 (roundtables) is limited to those who submit in advance.
Warm regards,
Miaomiao Zhang (Harvard University), Nety Wu (INSEAD), and Moran Lazar (Tel Aviv University)
