Such an important topic and we bring together multiple disciplines, different theory bases & methodologies, and add the perspectives of practitioners and policy experts to those of scholars and educators. That means we need - and want - you!

We have commitments from most of the top scholars, many of whom are also active in their own local ecosystems.

           Notes on the format:

1) Opening "firestarter" mini-plenaries from Erik Stam, Don Siegel, Ben Spigel, and Maribel Guerrero

2) People seem to love having themed breakouts - we promised 4 themes (the "4 P's") and breakout groups for each:
          Publishing
          Policy
          Performance/Metrics
          People

3) Be thinking about which breakout excites you most. We can always use more great facilitators to ensure everyone talks but we have some amazing experienced facilitators already. We need scribes/recorders for each. We intend to have 4 rounds of discussion, so plenty of options!  More big thanks to current faciltators Dev Dutta, Stephane Foliard, Wiebke Heinze, Gabi Kaffka, Michael Meeks, Erik Monsen, Allan Villegas, and Ieva Zebryte.

PLUS a few carrots to dangle:
1) Elgar publishes Research Agenda volumes and they love the idea of ecosystems. We will be recruiting potential contributors. Elgar loves novel collaborations and seems very interested in collaborations with practitioners/policy folks! If interested, note that on that g-form and then say hi at AoM.
2) Elgar also has a book series on entrepreneurship research for practice. Something on ecosystems is already in the works.
3) There are multiple great calls for special issues in good journals that we'll talk about on Saturday.

Sorry to be a bit slow on this - but excited to see what Boston will bring!
