PDW "Governing For a Sustainable Future: Exploring The Interactions Between The Public And Private Sectors"
    When: Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 3.00-.430 pm (UTC-5).
Where: Marriott Chicago Downtown - Magnificent Mile in Lakeview

Today's world faces numerous major challenges that threaten a sustainable future for people and the planet. Addressing these challenges requires collective action and collaborative solutions forged through public-private interactions. The organizational research and innovation literature has addressed various forms of public-private interactions, exploring their collaborations and outcomes. However, many questions about the governance of these interactions for a sustainable future remain open and warrant scholarly attention.

    With our expert panelists:
    • Domenico Dentoni (Montpellier Business School),
    • Raghu Garud (Penn State),
    • Johanna Mair (Hertie School of Governance), and
    • Madeleine Rauch (Cambridge Judge Business School)
We will discuss what a sustainable future is and how the private and public sectors can contribute to its development and cooperation. As an outcome of the PDW, we seek to identify key areas for future research, develop research recommendations for scholars, and develop a call to action to motivate more studies in this critical area.
    Organizers:
    • Miriam Feuls, Copenhagen Business School
    • Sylvia Grewatsch, Brock University
    • Natalia Mityushina, Brock University
    • Sunny Mosangzi Xu, Copenhagen Business School
We look forward to seeing you in Chicago!
