    SPACE AND PLACE IN ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH: TOPICS, METHODS AND CONCEPTUAL PERSPECTIVES – PDW

    Are you a management scholar engaging with space and place? Are you seeking new research ideas to explore space and place across various topics, using different methods and conceptual perspectives? If so, please join us for our PDW at the AOM meeting in Copenhagen, where we will bring together experts on space and scholars who employ spatial lenses in diverse areas such as strategy, innovation, organization, institutions, and entrepreneurship.
     
    This PDW is divided into two parts.
     
    Part 1: Presentation from Panelists
    In the first part, five distinguished panelists will each offer a brief presentation on (1) Definitions and conceptual/theoretical perspectives to study space and place in management science; (2) Methodological domain and empirical phenomena that challenge current knowledge on space and place; (3) Future research directions and opportunities for theoretical and empirical advancements.
     
    During this session, you'll be inspired by expert panelists including:
    • Chris Steyaert (University of St. Gallen, Switzerland)
    • David Seidl (University of Zurich, Switzerland)
    • Louise Nash (University of Essex, UK)
    • Massimo Maoret (IESE Business School, Spain)
    • Robin Holt (University of Bristol, UK)
     
    Part 2: Roundtable Discussions
    In the second part, we invite you to engage in small-group roundtable discussions led by panelists and excellent facilitators:
