Recruitment | JOM Media Team - It has been 16 months since the launch of the Journal of Operations Management (JOM)'s LinkedIn page, 11 months since the launch of the JOM Interview Series, and 5 months since the launch of the affiliated DOME project. All of these efforts have capitalized on a variety of knowledge dissemination approaches, limited only by the hours available to those involved. We are now ready to take these efforts to the next level by developing a media team dedicated to supporting JOM's mission and sharing the insights that outstanding scholars are and have been contributing.

This team will begin small, will be volunteer-based and the recruitment process will be selective. Individuals interested in joining will not only need to be familiar with the Journal's mission but should also demonstrate some level of experience with the development of media products such as well-produced videos and audio recordings (e.g. podcasts), animated and graphic renderings (e.g. infographics), as well as social media networking and content promotion.

Those selected with collaborate with Dr. Elliot Bendoly (co-Editor-in-Chief of JOM) and Dr Rajinder Bhandal (Moderator of the JOM Interview Series). The team will be dedicated to the production of content in support of JOM's knowledge dissemination goals, and will start work with a number of projects already identified along these lines. Team members can also suggest new projects – Once vetted, if deemed a fit to mission, those can also be taken up. Artifacts produced that relate to OM, but not specifically to JOM, will be promoted through alternative channels.

Those interested in applying can email their CVs and a cover letter of no more than 300 words, highlighting examples of the skills presented in the 2nd paragraph above, to the co-EIC, Dr. Elliot Bendoly (bendoly.2@osu.edu). Applications deadline: June 15. Decisions will be made no later than June 30.

Perks: - Gain visibility and network - Directly contribute to the JOM brand -Work closely with JOM editorial leadership - Develop a portfolio of media products that highlight your expertise - Immerse yourself in current research trends - Amplify the research's real-world impact - Give back to the discipline - Explore creative avenues for scholarly communication and digital engagement.
