Are you interested in research on how entrepreneurs pitch successfully to gain support and investment? Would you like better tools for teaching your budding student founders and entrepreneurs on pitch techniques?
Title: New Methodologies in Entrepreneurship Pitch Research and Teaching (#17893)
Time: Saturday July 26 from 11:15 to 12:45
Location: Belle Center, Hall A
The session will expose participants to new technologies for collecting physiologic measures including eye tracking, facial coding, galvanic skin response (GSR), public speaking and voice analysis, and other new tools via external organizations. We will also introduce tools for collecting data on venture investment and analyzing pitch delivery. We will then move to an interactive session featuring leading pitch researchers sharing approaches to using these and other tools, as well as unique datasets and collection techniques. Finally, participants will personally interact with these technologies through demonstrations, and have smaller breakout group discussions with colleagues around research and teaching innovations.
