We invite scholars interested in strategy, innovation, organization theory, and interorganizational relationships to join us for the AOM 2026 Professional Development Workshop (PDW), AI and Algorithmic Governance in Inter-Firm Relationships.
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in how firms select partners, negotiate agreements, coordinate activities, and monitor exchanges, fundamental questions arise about the future of governance across organizational boundaries. How will AI reshape trust, control, decision-making, and value creation in alliances, partnerships, platforms, and ecosystems? This PDW provides an opportunity to discuss these emerging questions with leading scholars and fellow researchers interested in the future of inter-firm governance.
