The University of Sydney welcomes applications for Education Focused Academics (Sydney Horizon Educators) in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship, during an exciting and innovative time. Closing date: 03 November 23:59 AEST.
This role involves leading and supporting curriculum delivery in interdisciplinary and cross-faculty programs focused on strategy, innovation, or entrepreneurship. You will contribute to the educational and administrative responsibilities of the Discipline and School and support the ongoing development of a positive workplace culture aligned with the strategic direction of the Business School and University. You will also be expected to build a strong profile with external stakeholders, particularly within the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Successful candidates will be expected to dedicate most of their contribution to teaching and teaching-related activities (70%), while also engaging in research (20%) and governance, leadership, and engagement (10%). Successful appointees support, coordinate, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate coursework Units of Study. Laboratory tutorial, studio class deliveries, and workshop management and teaching may also be a key part of the roles. These positions may also assist and guide the academic coordinators of other units within the discipline.
