We warmly invite you to join us at our presenter symposium on Technology Regulation at AOM 2025 on Monday at 17:15, co-organised by Katia Meggiorin (Stevens) and Natalie Burford (IESE).
Technological developments have led to increased regulatory scrutiny in recent years, in particular for firms developing and using emerging technologies, e.g. firms developing Artificial Intelligence and digital platforms. In this symposium, the presenters, who are experts in this field, will unpack how firms can proactively navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and will explore the trade-offs associated with technology regulation. The presentations cover a variety of interesting settings, from regulating AI in China to medical device regulation in the US using different theoretical and methodological approaches including an institutional lens, a theoretical model and large scale empirics. I am excited!
