Please join us for the TIM Division's Plenary session, "Innovating a Better Tomorrow." The session brings together a distinguished set of panelists from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to discuss how their organizations are working to increase access to new and existing technologies in ways that build a stronger and more inclusive society.

Our plenary panelists include Shalanda Baker (Deputy Director for Energy Justice, US Department of Energy), Rafael Flor (Senior Program Officer, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), and Erika Wagner (Senior Director, Emerging Market Development, Blue Origin).

The session is scheduled for Monday, August 8 from 1:45-3:15PM at Seattle Convention Center in Tahoma 1 (session 1404). The session will be streamed live on the AOM platform, but not recorded.

Given this session will be a hybrid session and we want to equitably solicit questions from both our in-person and virtual attendees, as well as make the best use of time, questions will be taken in advance. Please send your questions (or topics of interest) to our moderator Daniel Armanios (daniel.armanios@sbs.ox.ac.uk) by July 31

We hope you join us in exploring how technologies can be used to enhance economic growth and solve societal grand challenges in a variety of contexts, including food security, energy access, and spaceflight.

Looking forward to seeing you in Seattle!
