    Business for a Better World Dissertation Proposal Competition Winners Announced 

    The College of Business at Colorado State University is pleased to share the results of this year's Business for a Better World Dissertation Proposal Competition. Submissions were evaluated in terms of (1) benefit to society/creating a better world; (2) theoretical contribution in creating new knowledge; (2) substantive contribution for multiple stakeholders, and (4) sound/appropriate methodology. Each of the winning researchers receive $6,000 to fund their work, and will present their research at a workshop on October 6th. Congratulations to:

    "Remotely Well: Investigating the Unique Costs and Benefits of Virtual Work for Employees who Experience Depression"

    • Yafei Guo, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – Gies College of Business, Advisor: Carlos Torreli

    "Religion and Preventative Care: The Role of God Beliefs and Message Framing"

    • Yougeong Song, University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management, Advisor: Mary E. Zellmer-Bruhn

    "Language in Business, Language at Work: Essays on the Effects of Language Diversity and Language Proficiency on Individuals and Teams"
