Quiet quitting; bare minimum Mondays; laying flat; boreout; act your wage. Whatever you call it, it's all over the news and social media. Capitalizing on this momentum, Human Resource Management will be publishing a Special Issue on "the disquiet of quiet quitting." The guest editors of the SI want to help YOU explore the potential of your idea for submission to the SI at one of two Idea and Paper Incubator Workshops that will take place virtually (via Zoom) on November 13th at 9-11am Eastern Time and November 16 at 9-11pm Eastern Time.

The Idea and Paper Incubator Workshops are open to all attendees, from those who find the topic interesting to those with early stage ideas to those with fully developed papers. The goal of the workshops is for attendees to discuss ideas that help develop papers for submission or find potential collaborators for paper submissions to the SI. Each Idea and Paper Incubator Workshop will begin with an initial overview from the guest editors followed by breakout sessions where attendees will be grouped with the guest editors based on topic interest. Some sessions will focus on feedback of submitted abstracts while others will focus on a general discussion of the topic to generate new ideas. We encourage submission of a title and extended abstract (500-600 words) to help us group the discussion into related topics and themes, although those without abstracts should also indicate which theme most interests them. Whether you intend to submit to the SI or not, you are encouraged to attend and hear more about the SI from the guest editors and other participants.
