am pleased to share that I am now the Series Editor for Sage's Health Care Management case series. I am bringing this to DEI because Sage is looking especially for authors representing diverse demographics who write about protagonists with diverse demographics. Cases can be from 800-5000 words. The official call for cases can be found here: https://scpadmincdn.sagepub.com/sk/uploadedfiles/2023-2024_healthmanagementcfs.pdf. The process involves rolling submissions, but the hope is to have all cases for 2024 in by August 2024. Ideas for topics include, but are not limited to:
- IVF and Fertility Treatments: When Does Hope Become Exploitative?
- Gender Affirming Care: What is the Responsibility of Hospitals? Insurers?
- Rise in Alcohol Abuse Post Pandemic: How to Address?
- Legalization of Marijuana: Pros and Cons
- Abortion Access: What is Responsibility of Doctors? Hospitals? Insurers?
- Use of AI in Healthcare: What are the opportunities? What are the potential downsides?
- Drug Shortages: What to Do When There's Not Enough Ozempic and Adderall to Go Around
- Sleep Deprivation Epidemic: What to Do About It

Please be in touch with either me (kfrick@jhu.edu) or Rebecca at Sage (Rebecca.frankel@sagepub.com) if you have a topic you would like to propose/discuss.
