We're seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our team and drive innovation in the fields of psychology and organizational behavior. As a Research Assistant, you will be at the forefront of developing, conducting, and managing research projects as designated by the faculty supervisor.
In this pivotal role, you'll take the lead in executing major research projects and collaborating with faculty members to perform cutting-edge analyses. You'll supervise volunteer research assistants and oversee various research studies, from design to data collection and analysis. Your role will involve managing research subject recruitment, preparing data for publication in top-tier academic journals, conducting literature reviews, drafting and revising papers, coordinating lab meetings, managing research budgets, and project coordination.
Your impact will extend beyond our campus as you coordinate research projects with external collaborators, both within and outside the US. This includes managing communication, deadlines, and workflow with external parties to ensure seamless collaboration.
We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in psychology, organizational behavior, or a related field, and with a strong proficiency in quantitative skills and tools like STATA or R. Familiarity with experimental research and exceptional communication and writing skills are required.
While not mandatory, prior research assistant experience, especially with designing and conducting field and laboratory experiments, is strongly preferred. We also encourage those with ability to perform statistical analyses on large databases to apply. If you're comfortable using tools like Qualtrics and online recruitment platforms, that's a plus too.
