Dear Division Members,
It is a great honor for me to begin my term as Chair of the Management Consulting Division. I would like to thank you for your trust and for the privilege of serving our vibrant and diverse community.
What makes our division unique is its diversity and openness. We bring together consultants, executives, academics, and scholar-practitioners from all over the world. Our strength lies precisely in this ability to connect worlds that too often remain apart: academia and practice, theory and application, reflection and action.
As I take on this role, I would like to share with you the three main priorities that will guide our activities this year:
- Strengthening our attractiveness for both academics and practitioners, by further developing our MC Groups, which enable local and thematic connections and foster collaboration across regions and topics.
- Supporting pedagogical innovation, by contributing actively to the AOM Teaching & Learning Conference (TLC@AOM). This initiative provides a unique forum for members passionate about teaching to exchange, experiment, and share new practices.
- Engaging with Artificial Intelligence, a domain that is transforming both research and consulting practice. Our division has a key role to play in promoting evidence-based perspectives and critical dialogue on these changes.
The Management Consulting Division is more than a network – it is a home where you can find your place. A place where ideas are tested, collaborations are born, and bridges are built across disciplines and professions.
My aim is to harness the incredible potential of our members and to keep building together a future that matters for both academia and practice.
I look forward to working with all of you this year.
With warm regards,
Carole Bousquet,
Division Chair, MC Division
