Global Projects Director
The Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Global Projects Director to establish relationships with global business organizations and coordinate MBA consulting projects. The position carries the faculty rank of Executive in Residence, reports to the Dean's office, and has a preferred start date in early Summer 2014.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities for this position include securing student global consulting projects with paying clients, managing project budgets, planning, implementation, and assessment. The Director will teach one course per year, in addition to managing MBA global consulting projects and liaising with faculty, staff, and the business community as appropriate.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a Master's degree in business or a related field (Ph.D. preferred), plus some combination of experience in program management, consultative sales, teaching, or development. A business record coupled with a master's degree may be sufficient. Familiarity and connections with the global business landscape is highly preferred. Candidates must be committed to excellence in program management.
