Disorienting Experience Research

Dear OB Community, I'm a PhD student researching disorienting experiences, specifically Step 1 (disorienting dilemma) of Mezirow's Transformative Learning Theory (TLT) within the discipline of Adult Education. I'm reaching out to the community to solicit: 1) studies (published, unpublished or in progress) specifically examining the disorienting dilemma stage of Mezirow's Transformative Learning Theory 2) affective, behavioral or cognitive constructs of "disorientation" as well as theories, definitions, applications, models, etc. of "disorientation" across disciplines (in experiential education, psychology, leadership, change management, law, negotiation, mythology, religion, etc.). 3) instruments that measure "disorientation" or "disorienting experiences" that are not caused by a head injury or disease (dementia, Alzheimers, etc.)
