    Dear Colleagues,

You're invited to the AOM Caucus: Military Veterans and Organizational Inclusivity: Research Directions, Networking, and Community

    WHEN: Monday 8/12, 9:45am-11:15am

WHERE: Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, Commonwealth Room

Brief Description: This caucus brings together individuals interested in military veterans in the workplace, providing an opportunity to make new connections and discuss research and employment trends. Specific research directions to be discussed include military experience as human capital, employment discrimination against veterans, managerial and operational issues associated with employing veterans currently serving part-time (e.g., in the Reserve or National Guard), and others. Participants will also consider successful strategies for publishing military veteran-related research in top-tier management journals. A major aim of this caucus is to create a community of AOM individuals interested in military veteran research, teaching, and employment issues.

No registration needed. If you cannot attend this caucus but wish to become connected to the network that emerges, please email co-organizer Sean Rogers at rogers@uri.edu. Thanks and we'll see you in Boston!
